PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. To get it up and running, you'll need to do the following initial setup:
1. Download and extract PCSX2;
2. Obtain the necessary PS2 BIOS files, extract all the files and place the entire folder containing them into the BIOS folder inside your emulator installation directory;
3. Launch PCSX2, the first-time setup wizard will appear, select your language and then click Next;
4. On the "BIOS Image" screen, click Browse to navigate to the folder where you placed the BIOS files, select it and click OK;
